BIOGRAPHY

Adam has been hailed by many as one of the country’s finest and most-respected singer-songwriters and musicians. He is one of the most familiar and widely-respected musicians on the UK's live circuit. 

Best known as the guitarist and founder member of British blues/rock headliners THE MILK MEN,  Adam has also forged an impressive solo career, following the release of four solo albums, including 2016's RAINBIRD and 2022's INFINITE HOTEL,  both of which received huge critical acclaim. His fifth and latest solo album, Talking Pictures, was released in January 2023 , once again to rave reviews.

 

RAINBIRD was named singer-songwriter album of the year by a number of music websites and publications. INFINITE HOTEL was heralded as an album of the year by a number of music publications. 

 

Half English/American and the son of a folk-singing mother and journalist father, Adam’s passionate, moving lyrics and storytelling is matched only by his ear for melody. 

 

A multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer, he has been playing live since the age of 15, and been in a number of bands from Britpop boy/girl duo FRIDAY, to modern Blues Rock band THE MUSTANGS.

 

THE MUSTANGS are one of the most established and best-known bands on the UK's blues rock music circuit. They have made 11 albums and in 2017 played at the legendary Glastonbury Music Festival. 

 

As founder member and guitarist in the THE MILK MEN, Adam has headlined festivals all over the UK. The band's four albums are regarded by many as modern modern blues rock classics and their third, Deliverance, reached the national top 40, and the national rock Top 10.

Between them The Milk Men and The Mustangs have been nominated for six national Blues Awards.
